“智能·传播·社会:跨学科融合与挑战” 首届智能传播论坛征稿启事

随着高速移动互联时代的到来,人工智能技术在新闻传播领域得到全面发展和应用,传媒正在成为塑造社会结构的关键中介系统。在智能技术驱动下,知识与信息以智能化形态向传媒聚集,高度媒介化的社会形态将日益显现:虚拟高度耦合现实、知识边界日益消融、智媒全面协同社会。在智能媒体平台构建的虚拟现实中,新兴用户群体开启“虚拟化生存”,两者关系日益紧密,持续重构新的社会语境与媒介情境。


面对智能、传播和社会的互相重构,传播学领域研究在探索实践的同时,更应进行理论和范式创新,突破学科界限,丰富研究手段,实现学科自身的融合发展,关照智媒兴起与社会变迁的融洽与互益。近几年,我国智媒行业发展处于世界前列,认知传播、算法伦理等众多新兴议题亟待传播学学者积极探讨,孕育具有本土特色的理论与方法体系。


有鉴于此,中国传媒大学传播研究院将于2020年10月17日举办“智能·传播·社会:跨学科融合与挑战”首届智能传播论坛。会议旨在聚焦国内外智能传播领域前沿和新兴研究议题,探讨技术革新与社会进步中信息传播的功能和责任,共促该研究领域的繁荣发展。会议将邀请国内外智能传播领域学界和业界的先锋人物参加,同时亦公开征稿。公开征稿部分,我们欢迎传播学领域研究者以及计算机、心理学等学科学者聚焦智能传播相关议题,搭建跨产学研的综合性、前沿性、应用性研究平台,促进学科交流。

In the era of high-speed and mobile internet, AI technology has been well developed and embedded in the field of journalism and communication and media becomes an increasingly vital medium system for shaping social structure. Driven by intelligent technologies, knowledge and information gather at media in the intelligent form, and highly mediatized society will gradually emerge while virtuality is tightly coupled with reality, disciplinary boundaries are gradually dissolving and intelligent media are thoroughly integrating society. In the virtual reality constructed on the intelligent media platforms, emerging user groups initiate “virtual survival” and are more and more closely tied to the platforms. The close connection will continuously reconstruct a new social context and media scenario.


Facing mutual reconstruction among intelligence, communication and society, researches in the communication field should focus on theory and paradigm innovations, break interdisciplinary boundaries, enrich research methods, achieve disciplinary integration and development, and strive for harmony and mutual benefit between rising intelligent media and corresponding social changes while exploring practices. In recent years, the intelligent media industry of China prospers on top of the world and induces numerous emerging topics, such as cognitive communication and algorithm ethics etc., which need to be urgently explored by communication scholars to cultivate the theory and method system with local characteristics.


In view of the above, ICS will hold the First Intelligent Communication Symposium on October 17, 2020,which aims at aggregating cutting-edge and emerging research topics around the world in the field of intelligent communication, exploring the functions and responsibilities of communication in technological innovation and social progress, and jointly promoting prosperity and development of the research field. The symposium will invite pioneers in academia and industry domestically and abroad, and openly call for research papers internationally. To build a cross-departmental platform and facilitate interdisciplinary exchanges, we welcome researchers in relevant fields, such as communication, computing science and psychology etc., to participate and explore topics of intelligent communication.
